This was the third successive film to have a Seiko watch featured in it. This watch was a radio/transmitter which Bond leaves on a parrot perch while he and Melina take a skinny dip. Q and Frederick Gray think they have Bond speaking to the Prime Minister, when in fact it is the Parrot.

Bond and Q use this inventive device to identify Emile Locque. The user simply inputs the Physical appearance then manipulates sketches of the individual until it resembles the person targeted. The data is then put into a database comprising files from the top police agencies in the world. If successful, an immediate response identifies the person and provides all known data on their background.
