THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
Smoking is dangerous to your health, but even 007 cannot predict the dual use of Anya's cigarette. It contains a sleep inducing substance which she blows into James' face, causing him to have a quiet nap instantly.
Whilst escaping from Russian agents in the film's pre-credits sequence, 007 uses the device to kill Anya's lover Sergei Barsov. The grip of the ski pole acts as a trigger and a small rocket fires out of the bottom of the ski pole.
Bond converts a cigarette case and lighter into an instant microfilm viewer as he travels with Anya on a barge on the Nile. This allows him quickly to analyse the microfilm plans for the submarine tracking system.
