Sean Connery
Biography
Sean Connery was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on August 25, 1930. His early life was somewhat rough because his family was not well off. He joined the Royal Navy when he was old enough. He did not stay too long because of a medical condition. After the navy he went out and got several low paying jobs. He participated in the Mr. Universe contest and he placed third. This in turn led to a job in stage performance. He appeared in several others. His first movie was Let's Make Up which came out in 1955. He did over ten movies before his more popular Bond role. Two of those were Operation Snafu and the Longest Day. He got the job of James Bond in Dr. No in 1962. He continued to be in four more bond movies. He then took a break from the Bond movies. Due to his successors unpopular performance he was asked to come back and do one more, Diamonds are Forever. Then he did Never Say Never again. In my opinion he is the best of the five Bond actors. Since then, he has been in over 60 movies. Some of the more notable ones are the Untouchables, The Rock, and First Knight. He has received many honours and he continues to be one of the best actors in the business.
